Join the South Carolina Historical Society for "A Revolutionary Evening" on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Poinsett Club in Greenville, the night before our 168th Annual Meeting. Space is limited- please purchase tickets by February 23rd!
Along with an exclusive exhibit from the society's manuscript collection and music from the 18th century, guests will hear from the featured speaker, best-selling author and three-time Pulitzer Prize winner, Rick Atkinson. Mr. Atkinson is author of The British Are Coming: The War for America, Lexington to Princeton, 1775-1777, the first volume of his intended Revolution Trilogy, a history of the American rebellion through 1783.
"A Revolutionary Evening" is a fundraiser in support of the South Carolina Historical Society. Dress code is cocktail attire. Tables (for 8 guests) as well as individual tickets are available.
